Milfred brings to his role over 30 years of photovoltaic experience and proven leadership in technology, manufacturing and business development. Having worked in four countries over the course of his career, Milfred excels at navigating cultural sensitivities and regional business practices to generate positive outcomes for his clients and the markets that they serve.
Recently, Milfred completed a three year assignment as President of Canadian Solar Solutions, where his responsibilities included manufacturing, sales, distribution and product development for the Canadian market as well as Global Project Development.
Before that, he was President of SSP Inc., where he was in charge of a $150 million novel PV technology development project. Before that, he was Assistant General Manager of Photowatt International in France, responsible for managing the manufacturing and technology development for what was then the largest solar manufacturer in Europe.
Milfred has B.S. and M.S degrees in Physics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, 1979 and 1981, respectively.
Co-Founder and President of s2e Technologies
Leveraging over 15 years of photovoltaic solar experience and an extensive background in senior management, finance, operations, administration, sales and marketing, Carlos is responsible for driving results for s2e’s stakeholders, surrounding communities and the environment at large including the development and execution of projects outside of Canada.
Carlos has worked in Mexico, England and Canada in different industry segments, with different companies. Recently, he completed a three year assignment as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Solar Solutions.
Previous to that role, he was in charge of operations, sales, business development, marketing, government relationships, engineering, purchasing, logistics and distribution. Previously, Carlos held the position of VP Operations of Americas for City Solar AG and one of its parent companies as CFO of Minerals de Pacific Coast S.A. de C.V.
During this time, he participated in the installation of PV solar systems and the implementation of a mining business in Mexico.
He has also held positions as VP Business Development, Marketing and Sales and CFO for Spheral Solar Power Inc. Carlos holds an MBA in International Finance and Marketing and a C.A. degree from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
Chief Financial Officer of s2e Technologies
With approx. 22 years of experience in Corporate and Structured Finance, International Credit, Collection Management and Regulatory Compliance, Steve provides s2e with the financial and related support services for both daily operations and for the Company’s expanding portfolio of domestic and international projects.
Steve brings a variety of complementary international financial and operational experiences having previously worked as the Chief Risk Officer/Head of Risk of China Construction Bank (Canada) – one of the largest global banks, Vice President Structured Finance at Fifth Third Bank – a superregional US bank, Head of Special Accounts at State Bank of India (Canada) – the largest state owned bank of India, and a senior corporate banker at Bank of Montreal – a “Big Five” Canadian Bank with CAD $690 Billion in assets.
Beyond this finance experience, Steve is a licensed Professional Engineer, an active member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers’ Energy Task Force and a retired Army Engineering Officer.
Steve is a graduate of University of Toronto Law School (Global Professional Masters of Law), York University Business School (Masters of Business Administration, Finance Specialty), Royal Military College of Canada (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering) and Canadian Forces School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Maintenance Officer).
Global Vice President of Business Development of s2e Technologies
Colin has extensive management experience in North American and International markets in the Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Sector.
Most recently Colin held the position of Vice President of the Energy Group for Canadian Solar Inc. In this position, he was responsible for top level management for multiple globalized development and execution teams, responsible to carry out Canadian Solar’s International solar asset pipeline development. He was instrumental in leading a team of over 200 employees to execute the largest solar project pipeline in Canada, exceeding over 750 MW of grid interconnected ground mount and commercial rooftop projects as well as further advancing the companies multi-gigawatt scale global project pipeline.
Previously, Colin worked at Photowatt International developing a ‘Spheral Silicon’ photovoltaic technology.Colin also worked as Program Manager at Automation Tooling Systems (ATS) where he coordinated equipment design, development, FDA verification and validation testing, manufacturing and installation of sophisticated medical diagnostic equipment.
Colin was a founder of Integrated Manufacturing Technologies (IMT), where he managed the business development, commercialization and expansion of new products and automation solutions. IMT’s focus was developing complex, automated manufacturing equipment and processes that were utilized in the high-volume manufacturing of automotive engine and transmission components.
Colin studied Manufacturing Engineering at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, Canada.

Vice President of Business Development of s2e Technologies
Over 10 years in the renewable energy sector with start-up Mondial Energy and as founder/principal consultant at Clean Energy Advisors. Previously over 7 years in the US real estate development industry with Strouse, Greenberg and Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
Advised on over $500 million energy and real estate transactions, and several key clean energy policy initiatives in Canada and the US.
Former board chair of the Canadian Solar Industry Association, with a Masters in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Over 13 years of Solar and Semiconductor experience with companies like Larsen & Toubro (India), Applied Materials (USA), Micron Technology (USA), Evergreen Solar (USA) and Canadian Solar (Canada & China).
Advanced education coupled with LSS/BB background, he has helped companies achieve operational excellence by reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Has worked on various versions of ‘green’ and ‘sustainable’ construction totalling nearly 40 million square feet, and over 85,000 kW of renewable energy systems.
A respected leader in Ontario and Canada’s green building and green energy sectors, having earned 15+ awards since 2007, and leading projects that have earned many more.
Made significant contributions to most of Canada’s leading green building programs including ENERGY STAR®, BUILT GREEN®, LEED®, Solar Ready, Net-Zero, and related codes and legislation.
Director of Internet of Things (IoT) and Director Business Development Latam
Over 35 years of International experience in Telecommunications and Industrial Automation experience with companies like BlackBerry, (Canada), Scan International (USA), Inmarsat representatives (UK), Orbcomm, Astrum Telecom (Mexico).
Rodolfo spent nine years as founder and vice president of SCAN S.A. a company dedicated to offer auto ID and wireless solutions to the manufacturing and retail sector.
